Alice Conway was born in Chicago on July 16, 1928 and died at her home in New Port Richey on August 1, 2018. She is predeceased by her husband, William Conway and her son, Michael Smith. Alice and Bill Conway relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida from Chicago, Illinois in 1974 and relocated to New Port Richey in 1976. Alice spent over 50 years in the real estate business and even right up to the end of her life, she was always working on a new real estate / construction project. She lived her life to the fullest and was a vibrant, generous member of the New Port Richey community. If someone was in need, Alice was there to help out. Alice was involved in the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and the Gulf Harbors Yacht Club (GHYC); which she joined 1976. She held numerous leadership positions at GHYC, was instrumental in advancing the GHYC Scholarship initiative and the annual Blessing of the Fleet. She is considered a Gulf Harbors Yacht Club Legend. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held 10AM on Monday the 27th of August at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
