Amelia Gwen Baird

Baird, Amelia Gwen, 81, of Port Richey, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2021. Amelia was born on June 30, 1940 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania to the late, George and Anna (Ditter) Seal. Amelia relocated to Florida in the 1950’s and has been a Florida resident ever since. For many years, Amelia worked as a registrar for the emergency department at Community Hospital in New Port Richey, Florida. She is remembered as being a very hard worker and an extremely dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Amelia was also a member of the Christian Church of Holiday.

Amelia is predeceased by her husband, Robert Baird, who passed away in 2016. Amelia is survived by her sons, Randy (Cora), Bobby, Bill (Mary), and Bruce (Sigrid); daughter, Robyn; sisters, Arlene and Georgene; grandchildren, Randy, Christopher, Robert III, William, Ashley, Hanna, Olivia, Bruce, Samantha, D.J., and Travis; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Amelia will be placed to rest at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida alongside her husband.
