Anna T Carroll, 97, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2023, in New Port Richey, Florida after a long and full life. She was well loved and will be missed terribly. 

Anna was born in New York City on April 12, 1926, to Thomas F and Rose Hyland. Anna was a unique and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. Anna married James T Carroll and together they had two sons. She was a loving Mother, devoted Catholic and caring LPN. She was a lifelong learner, knowing the importance of education. She passed along this priority to her children and grandchildren. 

 

Anna was preceded in death by Thomas F Hyland (father), Rose Hyland (mother), Thomas Hyland (brother), Mary Spivey (sister), and James Carroll SR (husband). 

 

Anna was survived by her sons, Jim and Ed Carroll, her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and great grandchildren. 

 

The family of Anna would like to express their sincere thanks to the Oakview Terrace staff for her care during Anna’s stay with them. 

 

As per Anna’s request no funeral or memorial service will be held.
