Benny G. Cadiz Sr.

Cadiz Sr, Benny G, 69, of Lutz, passed away peacefully at home on October 15, 2016. Benny was born on January 4, 1947 in the Philippines. He was the son of the late, Vicente and Juanita Cadiz. Benny courageously enlisted and served in the United States Army for over 22 years, including the Vietnam war, before finally retiring. He relocated to Florida in 1979, coming from Charlottesville, Virginia. In his spare time Benny loved traveling and spending time with his grandchildren and family. Benny is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Leticia Cadiz; his son, Benny (Francia) Cadiz Jr.; daughter, Millie (James) Wilson; and grandchildren, Colin, Gavin, and Benjamin.

A visitation is to be held at the Michels and Lundquist funeral home on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 9 to 11 am. A funeral service is to follow on Friday at 11 am. Benny will also be honored for his courageous service to our country with a military honors graveside service on Friday at 1:30 pm at the Florida National Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his fellow comrades.
