Betty Ruth (Green) Snell, 96 of New Port Richey, FL.   A beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and friend to many.  Betty passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, June 2, 2018 with family.  She was born December 9, 1921 to Walter & Zelma Green in Dyer County, Tennessee.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years Frederick J. Snell, Sr. and a great-grandchild Madison Elizabeth Grisko.  She is survived by many loving family members; three sons and their spouses, Rick & Julie Snell, Randy & Candy Snell, Bryan & Diana Snell;  former daughter-in-laws, Carol Snell and Beverly Snell; Grandchildren and their spouses, Brett Snell, Eric & Jodi Snell, Lance & Gina Snell, Bobby Butler, Amanda & Rob Grisko, Mike Butler, Kailin Parham; Great-Gandchildren, Jacob Snell, Joshua Snell, Hayley Snell, Megan McCain, Kendall McCain, Sophia Snell, Alexis Butler, Blake Butler, Lance Snell, Raylan Parham, Addilynn Parham, and Evan Grisko.  The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home of New Port Richey.  Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, 11:00 am at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home.  Burial Services will follow at Florida National Cemetery.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to First United Methodist Church, 5901 Indiana Avenue, New Port Richey, FL 34652.
