Gifts & Memorial Donations

Bradley E. Rettig of Hudson, Florida passed away peacefully on December 8, 2022 at home surrounded by love, in his sleep. He was 63 years old. Bradley was born in East St. Louis, Illinois on June 2, 1959. He was raised by his parents Joseph and Rosemary Rettig and had three brothers and two sisters. Bradley had three handsome sons, and one who passed. Bradley worked hard his whole life, and his field of trades were truck driving and law enforcement. He loved to help people and Never said No. He was a friend to many, always willing and able to provide any assistance to anyone who encountered him throughout his life. His infectious wit, his smile, his dimples and his twinkling blue eyes gave you a sense that he would be around you always. Bradley was a very patriotic and mostly private person. He loved his family, friends and his children and his grandchildren most of all. This beautiful soul will be missed, cherished and loved always, but never forgotten! Bradley is survived by the love of his life Dorene Miranda, his son Timothy Rettig, and all the family and friends and acquaintances. Although he is gone in flesh, he will be loved, honored, cherished and remembered in spirit. Being a simple man, his final wishes were not to grieve his passing, but to celebrate in your own way his memory in his honor. Thank you. The Rettig Family, The Fischer Family, and the Miranda Family.

Hi little Brother. Your time here has come to an end. You will be MISSED by all that new and loved you. As young kids you were really a pain, (being 7 years apart) but as we got older we grew closer and became friends as well as brothers. Now that you have moved on, you can be at peace and be with Nathan and Mom and Dad. It has been my pleasure to call you Brother, but more importantly MY FRIEND. Thanks for the Memories!

In the time getting to know Bradley, We had a lot of laughs together. We always looked forward to the get together we share. Bradley always had a great smile and the jokes always brighten our day. The one thing that always shined through was his love for Doreen. You could clearly see that Doreen was his sunshine. We were fortunate to have lunch with them on Sunday. Bradley was full of smiles and was enjoying a beautiful day out like no other. We will miss Bradley as he brought joy into our lives. Maureen Avitable says:
We remember Bradley as a kind, and quiet man. He enjoyed sharing his cooking skills with us , as we enjoyed his smoked meats and turkey on Thanksgiving Day. We are saddened at his homegoing for Doreen and Marion and Jennifer. It was a privelege and an honor to have met him briefly. May his family and Doreen receive God's comfort and peace during this very difficult time. with our love and sympathy, cousins Bob and Maureen
