Bruce Allen Hicks, 71 years young of Holiday, FL, passed away peacefully on July 8th, 2023.

Bruce was born January 31st, 1952 in Gary, Indiana where he spent most of his young life. He then moved to Florida in 1981.

He met his soulmate Debbie Neace in 1982 and had two children Ecko and Cory Hicks. He is preceded in death by Debbie Neace and Cory Hicks as well as his parents Herbert Hicks and Elaine Stobaugh his two brothers Kenneth and Johnny Hicks and his sister Susie Hicks.

Bruce is survived by his daughter Ecko Vaughn and son in law Joey Vaughn two granddaughters Kylie and Dakota Vaughn as well as his son from his 1st Marriage Billy Hicks his brother’s David, Roy, Jerry and Paul Hicks and sister Jennie Poulsen.

Bruce had a very outgoing and funny personality. He enjoyed talking and getting to know anyone and everyone he met. His passions were fishing, country music and having a good time with family and friends. He was Mr. Fix it and loved to help people. There was nothing he couldn’t fix/do. Bruce had the biggest heart and cared for so many. Not to mention he loved the ladies and flirted everywhere he went.

Bruce will be missed by so many but never forgotten!

    Dad, It's hard to believe you are not here anymore. I get ready to call you and realize I can't. We have made some really amazing memories together and I am so thankful for those memories I just wasn't finished making those memories. You have taught me so much over the years and it has made me a better person for it. I love you with all my heart and will forever miss you. I know you are at peace and with mom and Cory and all your family please give them my love. Until we meet again. Love you, your daughter
