Carolyn Angela “Carol” (Gabriel) Farewell, age 81, of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2023 at Gulfside Hospice in New Port Richey, Florida. Born and raised in Pittsfield, MA, she graduated from Pittsfield High School and was married to Ralph B. Farewell of Adams, MA for nearly 65 years. Together they raised 5 children and for many years were the well known owners and operators of Thompson Auto Repair and Alignment in Clearwater, FL.
Carol will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceeded in death by her son, William, and is survived by her husband, Ralph; children, Donna Beers, Michelle Wilson, Karen Goodridge, and Micheal Farewell; as well as several grand and great-grandchildren. Carol’s Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, February, 18, 2023 from 1-2pm with her Memorial Service beginning at 2pm and a Reception to follow until 4pm, all at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home, 5228 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey, FL 34652. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
