Tinti, Charles Anthony, 69, of New Port Richey, passed away under the gentle care of the staff of Orchard Ridge Retirement Home and Rehab on June 18, 2015. Charles was born on October 2, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York to Eugene and Jean Tinti. Charles bravely served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a Purple Heart Recipient. He worked as a printer for Minuteman Press Company. Charles moved to Florida in 1997 coming from Baldwin, New York. He was a member of the American Legion and a proud supporter of the Wounded Warriors Project. He is survived by his son, Patrick and wife Lorey; mother, Jean; sister, Joan; grandchildren, Emily and Nicholas; former wife, Patricia; and niece Melissa, her husband Michael and their son Evan. A visitation is to be held on Sunday, June 21, 2015 from 10 am to 12 pm. A funeral mass will then be held on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 10 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. A graveside military honors service will follow church at 12:30 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida where Charles will be peacefully laid to rest along his fellow comrades.
