Christina M. Wagner

September 5, 1980 - June 19, 2022
Christina M. Wagner

“Crissy” was born in Newport New, Virginia, spent her childhood in the greater Richmond area of Virginia and most of her adulthood in the Hudson area of Florida.

As a child, she had a natural bend towards animals…all animals but her deepest love was for horses.  She excelled in Dressage accumulating many ribbons and trophies.  Her favorite pass time was riding her horse, Hunter, with her Sister, Stephanie and her horse, Claire.  She loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, sunsets, the ocean and the mountains.  She developed her passion for animals while working alongside her Veterinarian Uncle Richard Grenoble during childhood summers.  Her favorite vacation spots included Nags Head, Hatteras Island, Shenandoah Mountains, and the Big Island of Hawaii.

Crissy was also a natural born cook and loved inventing her own unique dishes.

She loved all water sports and was happiest on, in, or near the water.

Crissy knew no strangers.  Her outgoing, peppy personality could draw any stranger to become an immediate friend.  She had a big heart and loved helping others in need.  She was strong willed and lived life mostly on her own terms.  She will be missed deeply by all who knew her, especially her infectious smile and witty personality.  We love you very much Crissy.  We will see you soon, I envision you will be galloping on a beautiful white horse along the pearly gates to greet your loved ones that will someday join you and all our family and friends that have  also gone on to heaven.

Crissy is survived by her Mom, Denise Mudd, Step Father, Richard Mudd, of Tarpon Springs, FL,  Father, David Wagner, of Richmond, VA,  Maternal GrandFather, H. Frank Lawson of Tarpon Springs, FL,  Maternal Uncle Randy Lawson, Gary Lawson and Aunt Patricia, of Poquoson, VA, Paternal Uncle Nick Wagner of Englewood CO,  and Paternal Aunt Sharon Grenoble of  Petersburg, VA.  She leaves behind many cousins, a Neice, Shannen Camp, and many  friends that will all miss her deeply.

Crissy is predeceased by her maternal Grandmother, Inez Lawson of Tarpon Springs, Florida,  Sister, Stephanie Camp of Tarpon Springs, FL, Maternal Aunt Rhonda Kirkland of Petersburg, VA,  Paternal Grandparents, Nick and Jenny Wagner of Chester, VA, Paternal Aunt Kathleen Wagner of Englewood, CO, and Paternal Uncle Richard Grenoble of Petersburg, VA,

Always in our hearts, Crissy.  We love you.

We will miss Crissy’s fishing stories and plans to come to Virginia to fish for cobia. Her positive attitude was always inspiring and made me feel good when around her. Looking forward to seeing her in the sweet by and by when we meet on that beautiful shore.
