Dale Francis Sherman, 76, of Port Richey, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2023 at his home. Born in Rockville, CT on June 19, 1946 to Barbara Myers and Ralph Sherman, he then moved to Methuen, MA, and eventually settled in the Tampa Bay area in FL.
He joined the Air Force and served as a medic in the Vietnam war. Going on to obtain his Bachelors Degree and becoming a Publications Engineer.
In Dale’s past time he loved to play golf and pool. He also loved going to the horse or dog track and placing bets, and just relaxing at home watching golf, horse races, football, or the news.
He would have proudly said that his biggest accomplishments in life were being an Air Force Medic in Vietnam, winning golf tournaments and above all, raising his daughter Jessica.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Myers; father, Ralph Jacob Sherman; step dad, Theodore Tenerowiz; and step father, Gordon Skaggs.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Sherman; sister, Shirley Langford; brother, Ralph Edward Sherman.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
