Gifts & Memorial Donations

Daniel F. Gray, Jr., better known as “Big D” or “Uncle D”, age 22, passed away suddenly on November 27, 2018. He was born in Byesville, OH on March 14, 1996. When he was about a year and a half old, he moved to Florida and has lived here since. Big D used his size to his advantage and worked as a mover for Heavy Moving Company for several years. He loved being in nature and living off the land, especially fishing. His fish always had a way of getting bigger with each telling of the catch. Daniel was mischievous and playful but worked hard when he needed to. He was the kind of guy who was always there for the people he loved, so he made and kept many good friends throughout the years. He was a bear of a man, though cuddly once you got to know him.

Daniel is survived by his father, Daniel F. Gray, Sr.; grandmother, Carolyn Rondos; sisters, Lacey and Robin Gray; his aunt, Robin Raymond and uncle, Richard Raymond aka Uncle Bubba; nephew, Charlie Herrera; nieces, Athena Herrera and Tally Styron; and countless more dear family members and friends.

There will be a gathering of Daniel’s family and friends on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 10am at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 11am.

Arrangements for Daniel are entrusted to Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home.
