Daniel L. Dettloff

Daniel L. Dettloff, age 87, of New Port Richey, passed away August 26, 2022. Daniel was born on August 25, 1935 in Grafton, ND, to Lawrence and Zenobia Dettlaff. He had a successful career in communications as an electrical engineer and supervisor. Daniel was a gregarious person who played the accordion, loved to fish and camp, and enjoyed playing cards. He will be deeply missed.

Daniel is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 65 years, Rose; his children: Wayne (Marcia), Pamela (Peter) Smith, Randall (Heidi), and Mark (Karen); his sisters: Karen (Ivan) Granko and Joyce (Ron) Cannon; his brothers: Raymond, Eugene (Gail), and Gary; his sister-in-law, Eleanor Dettlaff; ten grandchildren: Scott Dettloff, Holly Payne, Michelle Dettloff, Caitlyn Restrepo, Ellen Fisher, Matthew Dettloff, Amanda Dettloff, Mary Dettloff, Zachary Dettloff, and Ally Dettloff; and two great grandchildren, Daniel and Andrew Payne.
