Dolores Smith

Dolores M. Smith, age 82, of New Port Richey, FL, passed away January 21, 2017.  Dee was born November 4, 1934, to Arthur Lowden and Ruth Flory.  She moved to Florida in 1988 from her hometown of Lansing, MI. 

Dee is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jack Smith; her son, Douglas Smith; and her sisters, Joyce Graham and Charlene Friar.  She is survived by her sons, Dennis Smith (Susan) and David Smith (Janet); daughter, JoLynn Spivey (Richard); daughter-in-law, Jacklyn Smith; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and countless more beloved family members. 

Dee had a great sense of humor and was quick to crack a joke.  She was the self-proclaimed “Queen B*” and loved to make people smile. 

Visitation for Dee will be held at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home from 11:30am to 1:30pm, Thursday, January 26, with a funeral service to follow.  She will then be laid to rest at Trinity Memorial Gardens beside her husband.
