We never had the honor of meeting Doris, but with all the love and extreme closeness our daughter-in-law Jessica had with her grandmother makes us feel as though we knew her. Losing a Mother/Grandmother is extremely painful. We send our love and prayers to the entire family.

    Allen & Bruni Kasper says:
We were very saddened to hear that your Mom/Grandmother left this earth forever. But she will be with her husband and all her friends once again. Despite the fact that we have never met Doris, we seem to know her through all the stories we have heard over the years. Her wish got granted and all of you will keep the memories in your hearts for good. It hurts a lot to loose a mother, the pain will ease, but you will never stop talking to her for the rest of the time being.
We wish we could be with you! But since that is not possible, we are sending you at least a big hug!

I was truly blessed to know my Grandmother Doris. Her laugh could light up a room, and make me smile, even on the worst day. I have so many wonderful memories of her, so many hugs to cherish, and so many stories she told me to remind myself how amazing she really was. I will miss her and love her always. The empty space now in my heart will one day be filled when I see her again.
