Emmett A. Sawyer, 91, passed away May 11, 2016. He is the son of the late George and Zoie Sawyer. Besides his parents he is predeceased by Brother George Sawyer. Emmett was a faithful member of Hope United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Jean Sawyer; sons, Gregg Sawyer, Gary Sawyer and his wife, Susan, and Jim Sawyer and his wife, Cheryl; sister, Rita Gruzlewski; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2pm at Hope United Methodist Church, 2200 Little Road, New Port Richey. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to HPH Hospice. Online condolences may be made at www.michels-lunquist.com
