On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, Gary “Scott” Cooper, loving brother, father, and grandfather, passed away at the age of 58.

Scott was born on January 16, 1964, in Tampa, Florida to Donald and Carolyn Cooper. He was a talented tradesman, stucco mason and mechanic.

Scott had a passion for hunting and fishing. He combined these two favorite hobbies to create excellent meals for his family and friends. He loved traveling to the quaint and peaceful mountains of North Carolina and Virginia. He was an avid music lover and a collector of guns, arrow heads and NASCAR memorabilia.

He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and sentimental spirit.

Scott loved his family, especially the love of his life Teresa Nappi. Scott was preceded in death by his father Donald, his mother Carolyn, his brother Ronald, and his long-time companion Teresa. He is survived by his daughter Jenna, his three step-sons John, Tommy and Vinny, his daughter in-law Natoshah, his grandchildren Hannah, Arianna, Milania, John, Sean, Jayce, his brothers Jason and Derick and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at 1 o’clock p.m. at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home. Flowers may be sent to 5228 Trouble Creek Road New Port Richey, FL 34652.

Optional donations may be made in Scott’s honor to the Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation http://www.fcsf.org where he was provided a grant to help pay for his treatments.
