George Godfrey Kass, Jr., 94, passed away July 28, 2016. He is the son of the late Marguerite and George Kass, Sr. Besides his parents he is predeceased by his loving wife, Veronica Kass. George served his country proudly in the United States Navy, serving in WWII and Pearl Harbor. He was a big-time golfer and was very passionate about his patriotism. George was a part of the China Marines, assisted at the Military Museum events and spoke at Ridgewood High School to the Navy ROTC about his experiences.
Survivor of Pearl Harbor and 4 daughters, Virginia Ann Kass, Suzanne Ryan, Carol Ann Kass and Deborah Ann Clark and her husband, Mitchell; brothers William Kass, Samuel Kass and David Kass; sister, Carol Knoll; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday, August 5th from 10-11 am at Michels-Lundquist Funeral Home, 5228 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey.
