Geraldine “Geri” Conklin

June 2, 1948 - November 23, 2023

Geraldine β€œGeri” (Frost) Conklin, 75, passed away peacefully at home on November 23, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 2, 1948 to Alfred and Ann (McNamara) Frost.

Geri, the most loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother is survived by her high school sweetheart/husband of almost 60 years, Glenn Conklin; daughters, Debi (Kevin) Nichols, Missy (Pete) Merz and Michelle (Jimmy) Rist; grandchildren, Danielle and Katie Rist, Peter and Alexis Merz, Mackenzie and Dylan Nichols; sisters, Joan (Tony) Franich and Alice Scalici; mother-in-law, Mae Conklin; sisters-in law, Lou Frost and Diane (Vinny) O’Connor, brothers-in-law Frank (Rhonda) Conklin and Danny (Marie) Conklin; several nieces, nephews, godchildren and many many great friends. She is predeceased by her loving parents, Alfred and Ann (McNamara) Frost, father-in-law Dan Conklin, beloved brother, Fred Frost, sister-in-law Terry Travis, and brothers-in law, Bruce Conklin and Chippy Scalici.

Geri spent most of her life in the Tri-Village area until she became a Snow-Bird approximately 10 years ago and loved her time split between New York and Florida. Unfortunately, due to illness, she had not been back to New York in nearly 4 years. She missed her New York friends greatly. Geri was a life-long member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Cortlandt Engine Company in Montrose.

Geri had the personality and natural charisma to make friends no matter the situation, and her laugh was infectious to everyone around her. To know her was to love her. She was always the life of the party. Geri enjoyed shopping, scratch-offs, ID discovery, video games, bingo, poker, food, cleaning, gardening, yard work, feeding stray animals, hanging out with family and friends and many other things.

Geri was truly an amazing woman whose impact will be forever felt by her family, that loves her dearly. Her passing leaves an unfillable gap in the hearts of her loved ones. Her ability to sacrifice, provide, support, forgive, and love will be forever engrained in all she knew.

Celebrations of Geri’s life will be held on the following dates and venues:
