Helen Kincaid

Helen Kincaid, of New Port Richey, passed away April 2, 2018. Proud to be called a “Conch”, she was born in Key West, FL 91 years ago. She met her sweetheart, Leon Kincaid, at school and married him 5 years later. They were married for 73 years. She had 3 children, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The first child was a son, Donovan “Don”, born at Patuxent River Navel Air Station in MD. Daughter Roma was born at Castle AFB in CA and daughter Karen was born at Walker AFB in NM. Following her husband from base to base, Helen lived in 7 states plus lived 2 years at Clark Air Base in Philippines and 3 years at Ramstein Air Base in Germany. She loved to travel and meet people. She became known to many as the “hat” lady as she always wore a brimmed hat. Karen will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
