Idamary Joan Gardiner (LeBlanc), 81, of New Port Richey, entered eternal life on March 31, 2018. Her spirit is carried on by sons: Mitchell Gardiner (Cindy) and Vincent Gardiner (Kelly); daughters Alice Keenaghan (Patrick), Pamela Harrington (Bob), Judith Rogers (Al), Constance Focht, and Corinne Greene; nineteen grandchildren; forty-one great-grandchildren; a beloved sister, Joyce Szklarz; and an extended family of relations and friends from every walk of life. A special thank you is extended from the family to the staff of Marliere Care Center and Dr. Michael Ehab who cared so well for Idamary.
Visitation for Idamary will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018, from 5pm to 7pm at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated the following day, Friday, April 6, 2018 at 10:30am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She will then be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, with a committal service to commence at 1:30pm.
Idamary is reunited with her husband of 55 years, Ron. Today we are sure they are dancing, holding hands and surrounded by music, laughter and love.
Idamary lived an amazing life full of travel and experiences most people just dream of. Without a doubt, she would tell all of us that her heart was full, that she was ready to join Ron and other beloved family and that she definitely had no regrets. Heaven will be a better place with her – rest in peace, Oma!
