Gifts & Memorial Donations

James Kevin Freeman, 68, of Holiday, Florida, peacefully passed away on April 26th, 2023. He is survived by his 3 children, James Keith Freeman, Lindsey Nichole Davis, Steven Kyle Freeman, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
Born in South Carolina on April 20th, 1955 to William and Joanne Freeman, he grew up in Clearwater, Florida, and attended Clearwater High School.
He enjoyed playing golf with his father, brother, and eventually his son and nephew. Jim was also an avid sports fan and followed all our local teams.
Jim had a natural talent for all skilled trades. Was everybody’s go-to guy whenever they needed anything done. This talent led to his long-time career at Palm Harbor Montessori School, now known as Endeavor Schools as a Facilities Manager.
He was a strong, kind, and devoted father who was very supportive and would do anything for his children and grandchildren.
Services will be held at Michels and Lundquist in New Port Richey on May 21st, 2023 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. The family requests any flowers or notes to be sent to the funeral home at 5228 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey, FL 34652.

Jim was such a pleasure to work with. He was everyone’s “go to guy” and could fix anything. He loved his family, his friends and his school. He took so much pride in his work. I loved his personality and loved talking with him in “The Shed”. You are greatly missed, Jim. Rest in peace. ❤️

Jim, will be sorely missed by those who knew him. He had a way of always knowing what needed to be done and what was going on. He Cared, Protected and Loved us. He was the one who told us what to do when a storm was coming. He loved his family and friends with all his heart. Jim Freeman was a devoted employee who I hired to " help" at our school over 37 years ago. He soon became a full time maintenance man who could fix anything and everything. He was always there handling what needed to be done. On a day that he wasn't there I heard, "where is Jim?!" often throughout the day. Jim was so much more than an employee, he was a real and caring Friend. I know I am not alone when I say with a very sad heart, "You my friend will be missed." Love you Jim Freeman. May your Memory Be Eternal.
