Jerome β€œJerry” Lynn Eaton, age 72 passed away 6/28/2023.

He is survived by his wife Claudia, four children β€œThe A Team,” April, Andy, Adam, and Anthony, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, three brothers, Tom (Linda) Eaton, Lanny (Cindy) Eaton, Mark (Caryn) Eaton, and 1 sister Vicki (John) Castro, including numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry grew up in Hessville Indiana, graduated from Morton High School and received his degree from Vincennes University. He was a dedicated Ironworker of Local 395 for over 45 years and worked with many different tradesmen throughout his career.

Upon his retirement he created a new career, first as a Starter at South Gleason Golf Course, then as a Ranger at Turkey Creek Golf Course. He moved to Florida and continued that career working at Summertree Golf Course where his love of the game was enjoyed daily.
Jerry may have been small in stature but was a pillar of a man with his constant positive attitude on life and his warm gentle greeting. He never met a stranger wherever he went.

To honor him there will be a Golf Outing in Celebration of his life followed by a small catered reception for golfers and friends at the Turkey Creek Banquet Room.

The outing will be held on Friday August 11, 2023, at Turkey Creek Golf Course in Merrillville , IN. The cost will be $34.00 per golfer. Please RSVP by August 4th.

For the non-golfers the Turkey Creek Banquet Room will be open from 1-5 to share your favorite Jerry stories.
