Joseph A. Wall

Joseph A. Wall, 63, of Holiday, FL., formerly of Murphy, NC., and Bellona, NY., passed away on October 1, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

Joe was born May 29, 1959 in Penn Yan, N.Y. to the late William Jeremiah Wall Sr. and Emilie A. Dobbs Wall.

Joe had many trades, including farming, carpentry, plumbing, electrician and tile work. He also loved being a mentor to children. And when all that was done…it was beer time.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Grace, daughters; Carrieann and Sarah (Daniel), brothers; John and George (Evelyn). He is also survived by his grandchildren; Michael Davis of Turtletown, TN. Emilie Wall at home, River Freeman of Murphy, NC., as well as his Aunt Gerry and many cousins.  He is also survived by his Brother-in-Law; Donald J. Handsted, and his Sister-in-Law; Joann Handsted, many wonderful friends and customers.

Joe is predeceased by his son; Joseph Roy “JR” Wall, in-laws; Roy and Gladys Will, brother and sister-in-law; Jerry and Linda.

Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Moffitt Cancer Center of Tampa, FL. Also, thank you to the entire staff at Gulfside Hospice.

Joe wished to have his ashes scattered in Florida and in New York. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
