Joseph J. Drost

Joseph J. Drost, 83, of Clearwater, completed his journey of life to be with the Lord December 18, 2015. He recently retired from Sam’s Club after 15 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks, Largo and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is preceded in death by his father; his mother; his brother, Richard; and the mother of his six children, Patricia Drost. He is survived by his brother, Eugene Drost of Wallington, New Jersey; and he will  be deeply missed by his six children, Larry and Deborah Hulyo of Winter Haven, Florida; Joseph and Andrea Drost of Pt. Pleasant, New Jersey, Glenn and Claudia Drost of Brownsville, Vermont, Wayne Drost of Clearwater, Florida, Tim and Kim Drost of New Jersey. He will be remembered by his six grandchildren, Mike Hulyo of Florida, Michelle and Tom Kerns of Florida, Danielle and Courtney Drost of New Jersey, Julia and Alex Drost of Vermont; and also great-grandson, Thomas Logan Kerns of Florida and long time loving companion, Genevieve (Jennie) Shakas of Largo, Florida. There will be a service January 27, 2016. 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks, 12685 Ulmerton Road, Largo, Florida, followed by Military Honors at Bay Pines National Cemetery, St. Petersburg, Florida.
