Juan M. Johnson was born November 29, 1966 to William and Mazell Johnson. He peacefully and quietly slept away to eternal rest on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at home.

Juan was educated in Catholic schools, St. Marks and Demath, where he received his diploma. He attended computer school in the 90s and worked as a computer technician for a time.

He Joined Good News Bible Church in Gaithersburg, MD and received a degree in Christian Education from Bethlehem Bible College.

In 1999, Juan married the love of his life, Diane Burke. They moved to Roanoke, VA. There they joined the New Beginning Church. In 2005, they moved to Florida where Juan began serving as a Youth Pastor, Prayer and Alta Ministries. He also began teaching piano lessons.

Juan’s hobbies included studying the Bible, preaching, playing drums and keyboards, and singing. He had a real gift for music and could play any instrument.

Juan was preceded in death by his beloved wife. He is survived by his father and mother; sister, LaShaun D. Johnson; goddaughter, Aaronique Brown; aunties: Annie L. Fairley, Channie F. Johnson, Martha R. Johnson, Amanda F. Bond, Evelyn J. Taylor, Sherryl Hannon (Ron) and Veronica Hunt (Douglas); uncles, Martin L. Johnson and Alexander Johnson (Ida); and a host of cousins, friends, and church family, including his very special friends: Pastor Noe Calle, Tom and Lizddy Davis, and Wynter Hope.
