Julie Ann Damon, age 67, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2023. Born on February 6, 1956 to Marjorie Paterson and James Darnell in Detroit, MI, Julie grew up in Clinton Township and East Detroit. She graduated from East Detroit High School. Julie was a Girl Scout leader and she enjoyed boating, crafting and shopping with friends. She enjoyed the sunshine of Florida while on vacation and eventually moved to New Port Richey.
Julie was a computer operator at several car dealerships. She loved people and had a warm, welcoming smile that instantly made people at ease.
Julie is predeceased by her husband Ramon Damon, Jr; and sisters Susan Barber and Amy Darnell. She is survived by her son John Ancona, grandchildren Ciaden Ancona and Isabella Ancona; and her sisters Janet Nelson, Patti Allen, Connie Cotherman and Ann Palmer.
There will be a private family service at Florida National Cemetery.
