    Irene Konkle-Evans (Walmart 1085 & B4B) says:
Kathi, you touched so many lives, some you know in person, some only by name or business, and some who you helped you will never know. Your thoughtfulness in the community, your love for your family, (blood and not) will be remembered by many. Ride with the wind, for I will remember you when the wind hits me in the face and so many other times too. My prayers go with the family for the pain to subside as I know it can but only with lots of time.

It took awhile before I could write this.....I was good friends with Kathi back in the early days from another life. She was always the life of the party with non stop energy. A group of us spent many a night talking, laughing & listening to Genesis until the wee hours. We were all young and moved on with our lives in different directions but I would run into her every now and again. Still with a smile on her face and hopeful plans to get together again sometime. I really did hope to meet up with her again in Florida. She was ahead of her time - she was an independent, spirited woman who lived life on her own terms. She offered a smile or encouragement to all she met and was a hard worker in everything she did. Fly high, Kathi, and watch over your daughters from above. My heartfelt condolences to all of her family. She was one of a kind and will truly be missed.
