Kathleen (Kathy) M. Novotny of Dunkirk, NY passed away from natural causes on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at her home in Florida at the age of 79 years old.

Kathy is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Novotny, and her son-in-law, Gary L. Gavin. She is survived by her dog, Starr, daughter, Donna (German) Gonzalez, three step-children, Mary (Thomas) Hoffmann, Terri Griese, Chuck (Shelley) Novotny, and three grandchildren, Mathew Gavin, Keith Gavin, and Lauren (Thomas) Williams, as well as many great-grandchildren, friends, and loved ones.
As per Kathy’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations to your local animal shelter in Kathy’s name would be appreciated.

    When I was a little girl Aunt Kathleen would taken me to Buffalo with her and Uncle Rick. She would take me all kinds of cool places like soda bars and big stores.I'll never forget the Barbie she bought me ! Her laugh is also unforgettable! Thanks for being such a cool Aunt!
