Lt. Col. LaVeene T. Larson, USAF (Retired), passed away October 29, 2013. Mr. Larson served in WW II and Vietnam and was the recipient of the distinguished flying cross. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Carol and sister, Gwen. He is survived by three daughters, Connie Flannigan (Richard), Cherie Kirsch (Andy) and Linda Leoty; brother, Sherman; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. the family will receive friends, Friday, November 1st from 7 – 9 pm at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home where services will be held Saturday, November 2nd, at 11 am. Interment with military honors will be conducted, Monday 10 am at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
