Louise C. Georgantas

Louise C. Georgantas (Wondrasek), (82), passed away peacefully on May 19^th, 2023, at Marlier Hospice House, New Port Richey, Florida.  Louise was born and raised in New Lennox, Illinois.  She married Pete Georgantas in 1962 and raised three children in Joliet, Illinois.  Together, Pete and Louise owned and operated a grocery and liquor store in Lamont, Illinois until 1979.  Whereas they moved the family to Palm Harbor, Florida.  They owned and operated two more liquor stores.  One in St. Petersburg and later, another in Clearwater, Florida until retiring in 1995.

Louise is preceded in death by her husband Pete Georgantas (2006) and her daughter Athena (Tina) Chester (2022); Siblings Loraine Bunch, Margaret Zullo, Danny, David, Mary-Anne, and Susie Wondrasek.

Louise is survived by her two sons, Louis, and Peter – Siblings Buzzy Wondrasek and Valerie Bowden; Daughters-in-law Christina and Shannon Georgantas; Son-in-law; Dean Chester; Grand Children – Michael and wife Ashley and Nicholas Georgantas, Alexis and Brooke Chester, Delaney, and Ryan Georgantas; Great Grand Children – Zoe, Evan, Ezra, Addison and one on the way.

There are no services scheduled.  A private interment ceremony for Louise will be held in the future, at the Florida National Cemetery, where she will rest with her late husband.
