Martha A. Smith, 88, of Holiday, FL, passed away March 19, 2018. She was born September 26, 1929 to Lydia (Cole) and William T. Norman in Sussex, NJ. Martha spent her working years as a metal worker. She moved to Florida in 1997 from Sparta, NJ. She was protestant by faith.
Martha is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years, RD Judson Smith. She is survived by her step son, Larry Smith and his wife, Marge; step daughter, Elaine Wilson and her husband, Jerry; sister, Dorothy Poyer; twelve grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Martha was a person that you could always depend on. She would help the people she cared about in any way that she could. Her sense of humor and honesty will be fondly missed.
Services for Martha will be held in Newton, NJ by Smith-McCracken & Wood Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest with her husband at North Hardyston Cemetery, Hardyston, NJ.
