Mary Jeanne Rankin

Mary Jeanne Rankin was 87 when she passed on to heaven’s side. She lived her last years in New Port Richey, Florida. She was born in Pulaski, Ohio to parents, Raymond Henry Hartsock and Luella C Stevens Hartsock. Mary was a homemaker most of her life, only working on the side as a waitress. She always said, “Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.” In the late 1950s she married Leon Witter from Defiance, Ohio.  In the mid 1970s she divorced Leon. Years later she married Robert Rankin who was from Akron Ohio.  In the mid 1990s Robert passed away to be with the Lord. She never married again as she said she felt she had a wonderful marriage and nothing could top that. Mary and Robert were very much in love to the very end. Mary’s Parents were Methodist. Wherever Mary lived in Ohio she attended the Methodist church. When she moved to Florida, she married Robert Rankin, and attended the Baptist church with her husband. As Mary is now in heaven with Jesus, she leaves behind her children, Lauree Serrano and Lawrence  (Larry) Witter and 5 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
