Michael Robert Chester, “Mikey the Bull”, age 54, of Port Richey, passed away surrounded by his family on September 9, 2023 at North Bay Hospital. Born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, and raised in Toms River, New Jersey, he graduated from Toms River High School North. He was a proud member of the United States Air Force. He went on to work in the restaurant business for many years and has spent the last 16 years proudly working for Delta Airlines. Michael was a member of the NCOA and in his spare time, he enjoyed taking care of his animals, gardening, playing many hours of Madden Football and listening to music. Michael was a proud husband and father and loved spending time with his family and friends. Michael was the most patriotic person and stood up for his Country proudly. Michael never met a stranger and loved to help anyone he could, he loved to make people laugh no matter where he was. He always provided everyone with Life Lessons and advice whether they wanted it or not. His most beautiful smile and spirit will be remembered by all who knew him. Michael is survived by his wife of 30 years, Gael; daughter, Cassidy and son, Joshua; his mother, Dorothy Kretkowski, step-father, Rich Conti, and father, Edward L. Chester; siblings, Edward Chester (Karen) and David Perlin (Katie); as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents, Nicholas and Margaret Bilinksy; father and mother-in-law, William “Bill” and Bessie Maxwell; brothers-in-law, William Nelson and Randy Johnson; as well as great-niece, Quinn Rebecca Warner. There will be a Celebration of Life scheduled for a later time.
