Milija “Mike” Balabanovic

Balabanovic, Milija “Mike”, 89, of Holiday, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2016 at the Gulfside Hospice Center in New Port Richey, Florida. Milija was born on October 28, 1926 in Sarbanovac, Yugoslavia to his parents, the late Demetri and Stana Balabanovic. Milija moved to Florida in 2001 coming from Norristown, Pennsylvania. He enjoyed staying active by taking walks and swimming. He loved going on cruises and traveling to different locations throughout the world, completing many cruises over the years.

Milija is survived by his sister, Anka Radovanovic; newphew, Goran Radovanovic; friend, Pam Hense; and loving family and friends.

A visitation is to take place on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 11 am to 12 am at the Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home. A graveside service is to follow at 1 pm at the Curlew Hills Memory Gardens Cemetery in Palm Harbor, Florida, where he will be peacefully be laid to rest.
