Nancy H. Hite

86, formerly of Cortland, NY, passed quietly Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in Southern Pines Healthcare Facility of New Port Richey after a brief illness. She was born the youngest of ten children December 29, 1930 in Warren, OH, to the late Joseph and Irene Steffan Habosky. Nancy worked for Packard Electric of Warren for 30 plus years when she retired. She enjoyed crafting, short cruises, solitaire, and feeding the birds and stray cats. She was a friend to all. Nancy will be sadly missed by her sister, Caroline Mathews; along with several nieces and nephews; five stepchildren, Dianna (George) Neil, Charles (Luanne) Hite Jr., Russell (Lynda) Hite, Tammie (Dave) Williams, Rebecca (Patrick) Litowitz; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two very special friends, Bob and Tonya Hahn; and her loving cat, Mitzy. Nancy was preceded in death by her first husband, John Jackson. She then married Charles P. Hite Sr. who also preceded her in death.Nancy was also preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Lonce, Mary Panic, and Ann Harding; and her brothers, Mike Panic, Walter Habosky, Frank Habosky, John Habosky, and Joe Habosky. Services will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive NE, Warren, OH 44483, at 12 pm. Family and friends may pay their respects 10 am-12 pm, at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery.
