Neil Charles Cavanagh

Gifts & Memorial Donations

Neil Charles Cavanagh was a caring husband, father, brother, and
friend. Neil passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2023, at the age
of 56 from diabetic shock.

He was born to Marsha and Neil Cavanagh Sr. on October 22, 1966, in
Melrose, MA. He spent 22 years as a resident of Wakefield, MA as a
Local 223 Boston Union Laborer.  Neil decided to move South to be
closer to his father when his illness worsened, which is where his
journey in life came to an end in Port Richey, FL.

He spent much of the little retirement he had with his family and
loved ones finding happiness in his daily activities. The simplest
pleasures in life brought joy to Neil. He loved the outdoors, fishing,
and going to the gym. He was a kind soul, caring, quiet, but one whose
presence didn’t go unnoticed. His presence will be missed by all who
know him, as he touched the lives of many with his compassion and
dedication. Neil leaves behind a cherished legacy and will be deeply
missed by his loved ones.

Neil is survived by his devoted wife, Isaura; his son, Neil; father;
Neil Sr.; stepmother, Sandy; and sister, Tina. He will forever be
remembered for his hard work and commitment to his family and work.
May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his family and friends
find solace in their cherished memories of him.

No services will be provided for Neil Cavanagh at this time. As we
come to terms with his passing, let us remember him for the joy he
brought into our lives and the impact he made during his time with us.
Should you wish to honor his passing, the family kindly ask that you
celebrate his life by planting a tree in his memory.

Let Neil’s love of life and passion for fishing remind us that, “Seeing
death as the end of life is seeking the horizon as the end of the
ocean.”
