Sherwood, Norma Carter, long-time resident of Hudson and more recently, of Tampa, died Friday, July 1.  Born in 1926 in Seattle, WA, Norma was a graduate of the University of Washington and a member of Alpha Omicron Pi, where she formed many lifelong friendships.  An avid traveler and dedicated hospital volunteer at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Norma was an exemplary military wife, mother and loving care taker of every pet welcomed into her life.  She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.  She was preceded in death by husband Richard, and is survived by daughters, Wende Sherwood Reoch and Judi Sherwood Banks, sons-in-law, Mark Reoch and Tom Banks, and grandson, Richard (Rick) Banks.
A memorial will be held on August 6 at 11:00am, at Michels and Lundquist Funeral Homes, New Port Richey. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be directed to the Norma C Sherwood Memorial at the World Wildlife Fund.  http://wwf.worldwildlife.org/goto/NormaSherwood
