Peter was born in Little Neck, New York and attended school there. He entered the Navy during WWII and following his discharge began work as a butcher. He married Helen Sorokowski and the couple settled in Bayside, New York Moving to Florida in 1985. He is survived by his sons Kenneth Jaskot; Douglas Jaskot; and 3 grandchildren Gesiena, Alexandra, & Madison. Graveside Services with Military honors will be Tuesday October 7, 2014 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
