Priscilla Cruz

Priscilla Celinez Cruz, age 30, passed away after battling Covid for several weeks on September 11, 2021. She as born in Bronx, NY on January 8, 1991 to her mother, Maritza. Priscilla moved with her family to Florida in 2000. She worked as a Sales Manager for Holiday Inn Express.

Priscilla enjoyed being active on social media and looking her best. She was always well put together. She was outgoing and friendly. Priscilla’s real passion was for her family, especially her children. She loved them so deeply and always did was she could to make sure they were well cared for.

Priscilla is preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Matos, and her dear grandmother, Rosa Valentin. She is survived by her children: Jaiven Rivera, Jenallyse Rivera, and her newborn son, Levi Ray Martinez; her mother, Maritza Gonzalez (Jose); her fiancé, Tayshon Martinez; her grandfather, Wilfredo Cruz; her sister, Elizabeth Cruz; uncles, Wesley Delfi and Wilfredo Cruz; aunt, Vanessa Cruz; and her niece, Elyanis Cruz.

Priscilla and her grandmother will have a service on the same day. Both succumbed to Covid days apart. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 18 from 10am to 11am. A service will follow at 11am. The two will be laid to rest next to Priscilla’s brother, Raymond, at East Elfers Cemetery. Due to the nature of their passing, the family requests that all service attendees wear masks.
