Raymond Stanley Jozwik

Raymond S. Jozwik, 72, died on April 30, 2023 at his home in Port Richey, FL.  He was born in Carle Place, New York on June 4, 1950 To Stanley and Mary Jozwik.  He earned a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Clarkson College of Technology in 1972.  He got his Masters Degree in MIS/ Computer Science at American University in Washington DC In 1976.  He was a veteran, serving at the Pentagon as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army in the mid-seventies.  For most of his career he was an IT specialist and worked in Washington DC.  He lived in Annapolis, MD until moving to Port Richey, FL in 2003.  As an active member of the Crabtown Ski Club, he lead several scuba diving and deep sea fishing trips to Mexico.   Ray is survived by his daughter, Alexandra Lynn Jozwik, who lives in Delaware.  He loved doing Civil War reenactments.  He supported several State Parks in Maryland and Florida by participating in reenactments and Military Living History.  As an active participant in Collie Rescue, he trained several of his collies to be certified Service Dogs.  He took the dogs to hospitals and nursing homes in Florida until Covid.
