Reginald âDeshunâ Howard, 47, of Tarpon Springs, FL, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021.
Deshun was born in Pontiac, MI to Aaron and Rose Howard on November 28, 1973. He was married to Jennifer on April 14, 1999, in Pontiac, MI. Deshun was very passionate about his music as a singer/songwriter, he started singing at a very young age in church. As a teen/young adult he performed in many shows throughout the Detroit area and shared a stage with many performing artists. Since moving to Florida, he continued that journey by going back to his roots and focusing on God, writing and performing Christian music, participating in outreach programs, charity events and most recently entertaining with “feel good music” at many venues in the Tampa Bay area with his band. He was also very passionate about helping and mentoring the youth, many who will forever look up to him. He loved the game of basketball, especially the Lakers, and coaching with his brother Tony in the recent years. Most of all, Deshun loved his family with all his heart.
Deshun is preceded in death by his mother, Rose (Dixon) Howard.
Deshun is survived by his wife, Jennifer; his four children, Correna, Chelsea, Nathaniel, Jarred; two brothers, Anthony and Keith; two sisters, Christina and Katrina (David); his Father, Aaron; and two grandchildren, Kianna, and Jackson.
