Rita Ann Baker, age 99, of Holiday, passed away September 16, 2021. She was born August 2, 1922 in Detroit, MI. She came to Florida in 1993. She attended St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Churches.

Rita loved music and dancing. She enjoyed playing cards and speaking to everyone she met. She cared greatly for people and helped anyone however she could.

Rita loved life like no other and is survived by her children: Linda A. Ferrell, Wayne M. Baker, Mildred M. Giordano, Charles F. Baker, Theresa M. McKoskey, and Kenneth G. Baker, along with a legacy of 34 grandchildren and great grandchildren. She joins her beloved husband, Arthur Baker, in passing. Rita was a person who had a genuine kindness and caring for everyone she met, and would help anyone whether they were relatives, friends or complete strangers. She will be sorely missed by everyone and anyone who has ever had the privilege of meeting her.

Rita will have a visitation on Wednesday, September 22, from 4pm to 7pm. There will be a funeral service on Thursday at 11am followed by burial at Florida National Cemetery.
