Robert (Bob) Edward Anderson, 84 of Zephyrhills FL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at home. He was the loving husband of Audrey (Sohl) Anderson who celebrated their 60thanniversary August 5, 2021.
Born in Brooklyn, NY he was the son of the late James and Pearl (Cottle) Anderson. Bob attended PS47 School for the deaf where he graduated in 1953. He attended a Vocational School to learn a trade in Carpentry which was a passion he had through his years. Before retiring to Florida with his wife, Bob worked in the printing industry for Scranton Times Tribune, Scranton, PA for 25 years.
Bob enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends. He was known for always finding the next big thing in which he could invest and include his family in his adventure. Bob was happiest with his forever love Audrey and cherished each day with her, and loved his family. He was a true man of God and spent everyday in daily devotion. While being ill with pancreatic cancer for over five years, Bob put his trust in the Lord to take care of him. Bob is now free of pain and can hear the angels singing and rejoicing in eternal Heaven.
In addition to his wife, Audrey, he is also survived by his daughters Karol Strausser and husband Robert, Dickson City, PA, Kathy Anderson and significant other Gregory Batts, Bristow, VA. His sister Carol Huddy, Zephyrhills, FL. His grandchildren, whom he cherished, Brianna Phillps and signifiant other Dave Krasnow Newburyport MA, Brett Strausser and significant other Shawna Voglino, Dickson City PA, Cody Phillips ,Bristow VA Kayla Genovese and husband Dave, Dunmore, PA, Ashley Phillips and significant other Johnpaul Jenkins, Front Royal, VA., Jacqueline Strausser and Fiancé Noah Yurkanin, Archbald, PA, and Brady Strausser and significant other Danielle Anderson, Dunmore PA. His great grandchildren, Trystan, Kinsley and Enzo.
The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
