Robert L Skene

Robert L. (Bob) Skene, age 61, died August 11,2015, at his home in Holiday, Florida.

Bob loved sports, sunsets on the ocean, his dog, Dinky, and most of all his family.

Bob touched many lives through his life’s journey, from baseball, softball and bowling to umpiring baseball games. He owned Bulldog Lanes for many years and was inducted into the Columbus, IN Bowling Hall of Fame. His accomplishments include past PBA member, two-time state bowling champion and many state softball titles. His greatest pleasure was watching his son play baseball.

He was born in Marietta, GA, February 12, 1954, the son of Grace Rogers Skene, who survives, and the late John Henry Skene.

A celebration of life is planned for September 3, 2015 at Hudson Beach shelter house – Bob’s favorite place.

Bob is survived by his loving and devoted wife of thirty-six years, Patricia Kaye (Trish) Brabander Skene and his son Robert L. (Rob) Skene II, two sisters; Charlotte Beard (Bob) of Marietta, GA, Dorothy Sims (Rick) of Columbus, IN, four brothers; John Skene (Kathy) of Lafayette, IN, Mike Skene (Barbara) of Corbin, IN, Tom Skene (Sue) of Greenscastle, IN, Chris Skene (Mary Ann) of Hudson, FL and a very close friend and caregiver, Ann Stout of Port Richey, FL
