Gifts & Memorial Donations

Rosa Valentin, age 70, of Port Richey, passed away September 6, 2021. She was born October 5, 1951 to Juan Valentin and Rosa Ruperto in Las Marias, Puerto Rico. She moved to New York as a teenager and then retired to Florida in 2001 after a career as a home attendant for an assisted living facility. She was Christian by faith, most recently attending her family’s church, La Igelsia Pentecostal Casa del Alfatero.

Rosa was funny and genuine. She was outgoing and had a light that shone from within her. People who met her loved her right away and that love never faded. She was a very special lady and will be deeply missed.

Rosa is preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Raymond Sosa. Her granddaughter Priscilla Cruz, who passed away just days after her, will be buried with her. She is survived by her children, Maritza Gonzalez (Jose) and Wesley Delfi; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Cruz; her great grandchildren: Jaiven Rivera, Jenallyse Rivera, Elyanis Cruz, and Levi Ray Martinez; and her siblings, Gladys Cruz Maria and Artemio Valentin.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 10am to 11am with a service to follow. She will then be laid to rest at East Elfers Cemetery in New Port Richey.

If you would like to show your love and support, in lieu of flowers, please donate to this fund. It will help this sweet family through the tragic losses they are facing.
