Rosetta K Otten

Rosetta Otten, of Odessa, FL, passed away at her home on January 17, 2023, at the age of 82. Rosetta was surrounded by her family as she received her wings and journeyed to Heaven to meet her babies, Tammy and Joey.

Rosetta was born October 5, 1940, to Minnie Del Nostro and Alex Zalessi. She was married to Frank Dolezal for 22 years and had three children – Joey, Tammy, and Michelle. Rosetta dedicated her life to creating a loving home for her family.

Rosetta was a daughter, sister/sister-in-law, aunt and loyal friend but cherished most her roles as mom and “Yaya”. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents as well as her infants – son, Joseph Frank, and daughter, Tammy; and brothers Salvatore DelNostro and Gerald Zalessi.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Dolezal Benulis (Steve); grand-daughter, Katherine Benulis; sister-in-law, Judi DelNostro; sister, Sandra DelNostro; niece, Sharon Tisza-Mottl (Joe); and nephews, John Anthony DelNostro (Alex), Frank Dudas (Jenn) and Wally Dudas; and several grand -nephews.

Rosetta will be forever remembered for her love and care of her family and those around her, as well as for her humor and funny stories. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
