Russell T. Dunn 54, was born on July 12 1960 in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. His family moved around quite a lot. In States from New Jersey, to North Carolina and Texas to Florida. Russell was in Cub scouts as a youth and also enjoyed sports, playing Baseball and football and later enjoyed playing pool.
On December 9 1993 Russell received Jesus Christ as his personal lord and savior. He was later baptized at the Midway Baptist church in Thelma NC.
Russell entered the Navy in 1980. He was stationed in Charleston SC. He also did a tour with the third marine Division in Okinawa, Japan.
Russell met his wife Kimberly on 1979 and on January 23, 1982 the couple were married in the chapel at the Naval Ship yard.
Following Russell?s discharge he and Kim moved to Port Richey, Florida, where Russell became respiratory therapist. Working for a long while for North Bay When Russell?s health began to decline he worked as a sleep tech for many years.
On June of 1992 when his some Bryan Russell Dunn was born. He was as active in Bryan life as he could be despite being disabled, attending Bryans youth soccer, Baseball and football games. He was lo later delighted when his grandson Christopher was born, Russell?s ?little Buddy?, The brightest part of his week were the days Christopher came to visit and play trucks with ?Papa?
Russell went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 6th 2014
He is survived by his Wife Kimberly Cook Dunn, one son Bryan Dunn; his grandson Christopher Brown Dunn. One brother George Dunn and three sisters, Sharon Ball, Angela Dunn, Elizabeth Dunn and Several Nieces and Nephews He was preceded in death by his father Russell E. Dunn, his mother, Marion C. Dunn and one brother Kevin A. Dunn.
We pray the Lord comforts you during this time. Our hearts are saddened on the loss of Russ, but we know he isn't suffering any more. He has a new body in Christ, and you have the assurance that you will be with him one day in heaven.
