Ogorzelec, Thomas B, 80, of Holiday, passed away peacefully at home on January 3, 2017. Thomas was born on April 4, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of the late, Bernard and Sylvia Ogorzelec. Our country was courageously served from 1955 until 1960, when Thomas was actively enlisted in the United States Air Force. He later went on to work as a dispatcher for the Illinois Bell Company. In 1991, Thomas relocated to Florida from Lombard, Illinois. Thomas was an elder and member of 25 devoted years at Faith Lutheran Church, located in New Port Richey, Florida.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Donalee Ogorzelec; his daughters, Teri (Michael) Rolseth and Lori (Olin) Chinery; son, Thomas Ogorzelec Jr.; sister, Karla (James) Embrey; grandchildren, Matthew, Carrie, Trisha, Kristin, Cody, Jake, Katlynn, and Savannah; and great-grandchildren, Gianna, Zachary and Lydia.

A celebration of life is to take place for Thomas at Faith Lutheran Church in New Port Richey, Florida. The date and time will be announced shortly in the days ahead so please check back to our website for details.

    So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He always took the time to stop and talk for awhile. He had such a unique outlook on things. He will be missed by Jack and I.
