Coffey Jr., Thomas J, 87, of New Port Richey, passed on April 15, 2017. Thomas was born on May 26, 1929 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was the son of the late, Thomas Sr. and Catherine (Walsh) Coffey. Thomas proudly served in the United States Navy as a medic from 1947-1950. He was the president of his senior class and graduated from Boston University, was an Elks club member for 54 years and most recently belonged to Elks #2284, and was a member of the Florida Naval Sailors Association. Thomas worked as a store manager and regional sales manager for Sears in the New England area before retiring. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Nancy Coffey; five children; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial mass is to be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 10 am at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in New Port Richey, Florida. Everyone is welcome to join for a lunch following the service at Michels & Lundquist funeral home put on by the family.
